~WEB DESIGN LINKS~  FREE WEBSITE PROVIDERS All of these sites provide tons of space for you to create your site along with various online tools and wizards to help you do so.
GENERAL WEBMASTER RESOURCES The sites below offer all round help for the website builder. Some are incredibly large, whereas others just have a few bits and pieces on offer, but I have found all of them to be extremely helpful. I got the games on my fun page from Loonyverse, a site well worth a visit. One of my current favourites, @websites is a great place to learn how to create, promote and make money with your website.
HTML The sites below provide help with the HTML programming language which web pages are written in, ranging from tutorials on the rules to fancy code which you can simply copy and paste into your page. If you have not got a clue about HTML, but would like to find out more or even learn a little, you could also try my own guide for absolute beginners The ABC of HTML! If you are looking for a brilliant freeware HTML editor, I can highly recommend EasyHtml 2.1 by Toniarts which has some excellent features. It is very easy to use although it is probably better suited to those who have some knowledge of HTML and like the control of notepad but dislike the tedium of writing tags!
JAVA The following links will give your site something just a little bit special courtesy of the wonders of the java programming language. There are literally thousands of scripts out there waiting to be copied and pasted into your site!
GRAPHICS, ANIMATIONS & BACKGROUNDS There is not a huge amount of graphics on this site but there were loads a short time ago! (Far too many - I think I got sick of the sight of them all:o) ) So although this is not the most visually pleasing site the world has ever known I still know of many good graphics sites. I have tried to link to a variety of these here, without too much overlapping which is increasingly hard to do. As anybody who has trawled the web in search of that unusual animation will know, you see hundreds of repetitions of the same tired images before you find anything special!
